The Revolution Begins at Vision Source, The Exchange
Branded annual member meeting, The Exchange highlights alliance’s response to healthcare changes
BOSTON (April 10, 2014) – Texas-based optometric alliance Vision Source announced the success of its annual member meeting named The Exchange and 23rd year as a leading, independent eye care alliance, all hosted at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston from April 9, 2014 to April 12, 2014. Nearly three thousand attendees are expected, including a record-breaking amount of vendors. The Exchange addressed the alliance’s managed care initiatives, new product launches, continuing education, clinical best practice sharing, the meeting’s overall success and this year’s tagline, “Where the revolution begins.”
“We are at the forefront of a healthcare revolution. This meeting’s tagline along with the location ties in perfectly with our network’s proactive strategies to healthcare changes,” says President and CEO of Vision Source, Jim Greenwood. “So far we have aligned with multiple health care organizations, and are in the process of establishing more integrated healthcare agreements as we extend our collaborative care model for our members and their patients.”
Currently CoxHealth, Baptist Health Quality Network, Arizona Care Network, Memorial Hermann Health, and WellMed have selected Vision Source to be their preferred eye health care provider. Logistics Health Incorporated has also announced the success of its relationship with Vision Source yesterday, April 9, 2014, building off of an existing relationship.
