Vision Source Lands #2 Industry Ranking on Prestigious Jobson Top 50 List

North America’s Largest Network of Optometrists Is #2 U.S. Optical Retailer

KINGWOOD, Texas (May 18, 2016) – Vision Source, North America’s largest network of independent optometrists, continues to demonstrate leadership by ranking number two in Jobson’s exclusive listing of the Top 50 U.S. Optical Retailers. The annual report compiles statistics relating to total revenue and locations from the previous fiscal year to showcase the industry’s leading organizations. With growth of 13.5%, Vision Source enjoyed the highest rate amongst the top three organizations on the list. Luxottica Retail placed number one at $2.53 billion and Wal-Mart Stores placed third on the list. 


In 2013 and 2014 Vision Source claimed the number two position on the list. A record breaking growth year in 2015 that is carrying into 2016, has enabled Vision Source to claim the second highest ranking on this prestigious list for the third straight year. Boasting 3,262 locations and a collective $2.51 billion in revenue for the year ending December 31, 2015, Vision Source experienced strong organic and external growth and continues to build a robust pipeline of relationships with leading medical groups, integrated health systems, health plans, and ACOs.
